Our uber driver told us about this place so we decided to take a chance. The food is seasoned well. Never had a plantain used as... a "bun" but that was a great touch! Empanadas were very flavorful! I’m moving to Chicago because of this place! The food is fresh, amazing, friendly and nice staff. Clean. Love the salsa ????... music. Makes you want to dance and eat Puerto Rican food … the jibaritos (sanwich that includes the green plantain fried asthe bread) cannot be found in most states so I am so happy I came here. The salad is fresh, the dressing of olive oil andvinegar is perfect … not too vinegary, not salty, just right. Lots of veges in the Veggie Jibarito. Great for vegetarians! And the Garlic sauce is so garlicky…love it…perfect on top of the green plantain (tostones). The green plantains were solight and crispy. The best fried green plantains I ever had including those in Puerto Rico. So I will come here every chance Iget. Online menu a plus. No germy menús. And the bathroom was very clean. Delicious food just be aware the wait does take a while on weekends but besides that. The food is worth the wait just wish they... gave more bread(when I asked the waitress she replied only one bread per table), my daughter would have enjoyed it more. Read more

Super delicious PR food in a convenient location. It was busy by the time we left it was difficult to get our server's... attention, so next time I'd go earlier or just pick it up to go at the corner. The bistec en salsa jibarito was flavorful andthe bacalaito was well seasoned and perfectly crispy. We'll be back for sure. Read more
