I went to Michocana Y Mas for the 1st time a few days ago and ordered Mangonada. Antonio, the owner, has been at the location... for 4 years now. Michocana Y Mas is located inside a small mini mall at the corner of Archer and Sayer. Tubs of differentflavored ice creams, paletas and chocolate dipped paletas and frozen chocolate covered bananas adorn the glass covered counters.Among the house made ice creams, Michocana Y Mas serves hot foods like tacos and tortas among other items. Antonio was veryfriendly and suggested I try the Mangonada with a mix of Mango and Passion Fruit ice cream. He gave me a sample of the passionfruit and it was sour with a hint of sweetness. I didn't mind the small seeds and the sourness contrasted well with the smoothsweetness of the mango. If you have an adventurous palate, try the Mangonada. It's a delicious blend of smoothly-cold sweet,spicy and salty flavors. Chunks of sweet mango fruit also adorned the top of the Mangonada along with a candied tamarindstraw. I also tried a chocolate dipped coconut paleta ice cream bar. I love chocolate covered ice cream bars and this didn'tdisappoint. When you take a bite you 1st get the crunch of the peanuts then you taste the smooth chocolate and sweet coconut.Yummy! Read more
Delicious as always, all the time I go there I buy tortas cubanas y diablitos it's a most. Because up here in the suburbs... there's nothing like it, I truly recommend. Being a truck driver it's for us to find a place with good food. Read more

I?ve had my share of trying a variety of Michoacana locations throughout Chicago and I have to say I?m disappointed with this... location. My two yogurt orders was mixed up, and they weren?t busy when I walked in. The yogurt was extremely runny; it tastedmore like milk than yogurt. The two stars come that at least SOME of my fruit options were fresh and they had toppings I wanted(in the wrong cup but at least it was available). Read more
I love coming here now! Finally a place where they have fresh fruits! I love the new staffs they have now.They are so friendly!... Last time I asked for one scoop and they gave me so much! I love their ice creams, they are so addictive! Their prices areunderstandable because they fill up your cup and their fruits are fresh! I rather pay fair amount money for the quality ANDquantity. BEST Michoacána I?ve been to in a minute! They give you the sizing how every other location used to, a large is like an XL & a... small looks like what a large is everywhere else!
