Simple and small menu but super solid sandwiches. We went for the first time (got a pastrami and spam sandwich?you can also add... an egg if it?s breakfast time). The bread is perfectly crispy crunch, meats and cheese hot and the fixings are nice and cold;great balance. Also got the coconut oatmeal and am a big fan! We dined in and it?s a more narrow space with a counter stylefeel rather than sit down style but i loved checking out all the guitars they have on the wall. Read more
Prices are way different from online first and foremost. Food decent but can you really mess up a sandwich. I mean seriously. My... biggest issue was that it was around 930 am when I stepped in there. The older lady with all the earrings gave me attitude rightoff back. I stepped back let everyone go before while I decided what I wanted and me being courteous wasn't nice of me. Butdon't ask if they have sugar for you to use cause then comes the rolling eyes. First time, the lady is kind. i was excited to try puerto rican sandwiches I order a pastrami, meh! it wasn't bad but not the... best. if youre puerto rican you know how pastrami taste in Puerto Rico, chopped pastrami, etc here was like a ham. Hope nexttime will be better. Read more
Great local sandwich shop, tucked in the middle of Humboldt park. Great sandwiches, and they serve breakfast also. Nice inside... seating and outside patio area, for these beautiful Chicago summer days... Stop in and grab a sandwich and they serve beer, ifyou like that with your sandwich. Read more
That sandwich hit the spot. It?s the perfect pick me up after a long night of fun. I got an egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich with... a coffee. The service was fast. They were open on a holiday. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. So good. Read more
My first time eating from this place and it was the most horrible experience a customer can have to have hair in their food. I?m... disgusted. I placed the order on the phone at 2pm for my son to pick it up. On Sunday?s they close at 3pm therefore no oneanswered the phone when i found hair in my sandwich. I have never experienced hair in my food. Sad especially coming from aplace in the neighborhood. Read more
