I've come to this specific location for 20 years. "The Lou" is my favorite. The service here is slow, so be patient. The food... is very much worth the wait and the staff are so polite. There's community effort and history behind this specific LouMalnati's, so it's always a pleasure to support it. I love Lou Malnatis!!!Customer service is always great! Staff are always polite and friendly. Today...???????????I ordered 2... deep dish pizzas only to see that the pizzas was far from deep dish. I've gone to this Lou's in Lawndale for years, frequently! Never had a reason to really complain about anything major, even if... sometimes the delivery was lukewarm. Never had an issue dining in. The food always tasted fresh and it was good. I haven'tordered in a few months but we wanted something good today. I ordered pizza, buffalo chicken(sauce on the side), fries andcheese bread. Everything but the chicken was as usual. The chicken was horrible this time! It looked old and burnt. It lookedlike it had been previously cooked and then refried when I placed my order. The skin was very plastic-y and dark. I'm shockedthis was allowed to come out of the kitchen. Ive had their chicken before and it never looked like that...Maybe they have newpeople or maybe this was a bad day...but I know 1 thing, I'll stick to the pizza from now on. Read more
