Tamales were extremely dry almost like if they were old and microwaved. Tomatoe salsa container popped open from gasses and had... a odd smell like it was going back. Tacos were ok meat had allot of fat just wasn't good at all to me I ordered through grubhubfirst time eating from here and last. Thank God for grubhub was able to get a refund. On those old tamales. This place has really gone down hill. The staff used to be friendly. I have stopped by twice within 30-60 after they open... according to their Google hours; and there is a guy sitting at the table with his arms crossed and tells me that I need to leavethat they aren't open. Why is your door unlocked and the open sign lit up then? Update your Google hours and don't unlock thedoor. Read more
If I could, I would give this place ZERO stars. I'm not sure if these other reviews are fake but the food and service was not... good. I started off with the queso fundido chorizo and there was not enough cheese. I also ordered the combo #2 which was ataco, quesadilla and an enchilada all with beef. The taco was alright, the meat was very dry and the tortilla tasted stale. Thequesadilla barely had any cheese and no meat. I couldn't even eat the enchilada because it smelled like the elephants at the zooand did not taste good. The waiter also overcharged me on my food even though the menu clearly states the prices. It was a wasteof my money and I will never come here again!!! Read more
I rarely give out one star; but the pastor tacos were dry and full of large pieces of fat, the queso fundido con chorizo wasnt... enough for one tortilla, the quesadilla was nearly empty and also dry, and we were overcharged and had to tell the employee tocorrect their menu prices?plenty of other mexican spots with better food and atmosphere. My husband and I ordered burritos. The meat was flavorful, well spiced, and delicious. Veggies in side were fresh. We got two... sauces (one more spicy) and both were great. The burritos were a good size and juicy. Above all, the service was excellent!Señor at the front was very kind and we had a great chat while I waited for my order. 100% coming back! Read more
I'm so disappointed with the employees of being prejudiced. I have been loyal to this restaurant since it has been open, I have... been giving tips because of a pandemic and I know it's hard providing for their family. For the last 6 mons my purchase havebeen getting smaller and prices rises $3 to $4 pocketing the money. On 12/7/22 I ordered a salad by waiting for 15 minutesbecause the employee was on the phone, as I proceeded to purchase my order he respond that they haven't been selling any saladsfor over 2 weeks. I have sent a friend in there to see where that true and he turned around and said that they do have salads.As you can see this is prejudice I will continue to speak with the alderman and community center to see how can we fight thisintolerance prejudicial.
