Best Pizzeria so far! It?s our first visit to Chicago and our friends suggested to try pizza at Lou Malnati?s and it?s one of... the tastiest pizzas I ever had. I love Newyork pizza but this style of deep dish is very unique and depth with many ingredientsinside the dish and super cheesy. The place is so huge and crowded. Service was extra ordinary, the guy who served the pizzawas super friendly and so informative. Pizza arrived in 20-25 minutes and it was so so tasty. New location, still the best deep dish I?ve had. Granted, I?ve only had deep dish at chains, but Lou Malnati?s has never let me... down due to their consistency and quality ingredients. You know this chain is different when you start talking about how goodthe pizza?s crust is. Pizza was great and staff was friendly and attentive. It was a 45 minute wait at 1pm on a Tuesday but worth it. What sets it... apart from the other Chicago style pizza is the sauce, with plenty of garlic and thick enough to bring out the flavors. Visiting from out of town, we came in for lunch before hopping on the road back home. We got a smaller deep dish for the two of... us, and it was perfect size. It came out a lot quicker than I expected too. Definitely a must try if you're visiting Chicago,and want deep dish. The Cesar salad was really good too. I can't believe my daughters have never experienced Lou Malnati's, but what can I say? We did it wrong. We made sure to include... this place as our deep dish pizza selection on a recent trip to Chicago, and we chose well (sometimes we do things right). Thewait time was 45 minutes to an hour, but it goes by quickly and this place has the weight down to a science. They put your namein an app and you know exactly how much longer your weight will be. You can also order ahead, which shortens the wait time atthe table considerably. Our waiter was a real pro. My family includes two omnivores, one vegan, and one gluten-free vegan (me).Our waiter didn't make any mistakes, and our order arrived quickly and without any errors. My younger daughter and my husbandgot the classic deep dish sausage, My vegan daughter got a personal deep dish with no cheese, and I got the gluten-free veganversion, which was sauce and spinach. I could have gotten more veggies, but I wanted it to taste simple. The crust was good, andI could really taste the San Marzano tomatoes in the sauce. I also recommend keeping the dressing from the salad so you candrizzle it all over the top! Once they offer non-dairy cheese for people with allergies or who are vegan, this will really be aregular stop and a home run for us. This place is neat! The architecture, the ambiance, the food and the service are all extraordinary. We had the calamari as... appetizer and then ordered a Lou and a Malnati deep dish pizza. Still my favorite place for my Chicago deep dish pizza fix. During the meal hours of you don't want to wait for a table, just... order to go and go back to your hotel (because I know you're reading this as a visitor wondering if you should eat here). Wemanaged to grab a spot at the bar for our pre-concert meal. Went for a spinach mushroom pizza this time and it was better thanexpected! Probably will add sausage next time.
