Maria's is the real deal family owned and loved restaurant. The food, the service, the cocktails are all 5+ stars! The portions... are HUGE! This location and their 2nd location in Rosemont are both equally fantastic! Try them out you will not bedisappointed! Read more

This place is amazing best fried ice cream I have ever had and the steak was cooked perfectly. Thank you chef for taking pride... in your work I will definitely be returning tmw for more. I currently live about 7 blocks away and pass by this place for 15 years now. I told my wife this place must be good since the... parking is always full and we should try it. Today she suggested we try it. Wow..... I'm disappointed we didn't try this placesooner. The nacho appetizers were great. We ordered the watermelon margarita and they were super delicious, highly recommend.To our surprise they serve soup or salad with your order. Highly recommend. Went back today for a party. The food was much better, as well was the service. It actually makes a decent place for an... afternoon event. Food was ok, when it was the food I ordered. Strange when you mention being a vegetarian and order enchiladas,the last thing you'd expect was ground beef. Not paying attention, since it was covered in sauce, I had the first bite of beefthat I've had in 30ish years. I can say I didn't enjoy the flavour. On so many levels. But wait there's more. So, you wouldthink that when you mention AGAIN about being vegetarian being served beef enchiladas, the server might say they were sorry,there must have been some sort of mix up. Nope, just an, "oh, I'll have them remake it." And very unapologetic at that. Afterthat service just got crappier. And I wasn't being a jerk about it, I just stayed calm to see what would happen. The answer...Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Management never came to apologize, service got worse, and the mostly enjoyable place we'd gone to severaltimes was taken off of the list of places we'd return too. I came to Maria?s for the first time last night and I was absolutely blown away! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was... very relaxed, and everyone was following social distancing and wearing masks when needed. The food was absolutely delicious andfresh made. The chicken soup was so good I ended up eating my friend?s soup too! The drinks were amazing too! I had a peachmargarita and it hit so well. I?d highly recommend this restaurant for family outings for authentic Mexican cuisine. Read more
