Went there Saturday for my husband's birthday. Wasn't busy and it was our 1st time there. Food was good but the server wasn't... attentive. She did get our order and brought us our drinks but as soon as the food came we didn't see her. Keep in mind that itwasn't busy and I seen some of the servers just talking and standing there. The only one who asked if we were ok was the busser.After we ate some of our food we took the rest home, we were stuffed. She finally came to ask if we were OK and brought us boxesand our check. I'm a server and I get you don't want to bother the customer so much but its part of the job. I deducted a starbecause of that. I still gave her a bit more than 20% tip even though I seen other people leaving $5. Times are hard but you gotto hustle. Lol. Hope she has better days. Read more
I gotta say, this is a real nice place to come and enjoy seafood! Not your cantina smelly place with a bunch of drunks and loud... music l on the side singing out loud "vivo de tres animales" which is one of my favorite but not while eating! This place is so awesome! The portions and the quality match the price. The service was fast and always vigilant. I never had to... track anyone down. Our food came out so fast we didn't even get through our appetizer. I greatly recommend starting with theceviche. After that, any entree will be a good choice! Read more
The food is excellent!!! But they have 2 bad thing , 1, the parking lot is really small , and is hard to find parking spot... during the weekend , and 2 , at least 50 % of their business time , Their credit card ???? machine is out of service , so beprepared to pay cash !!! Other than that you will be forced to go to the bank get money and then leave ... but the food is oneof the best sea food spots ???????? Read more
Excellent food!!! This place is one of my favorite places to go when visiting Chicago. Place is ok and there's always long time... waiting to get a table, but is worth the wait. Size matters in this place, serving sizes are huge and lots of well balancedflavors in every dish we ordered, dishes are a kind of expensive, but seafood is always expensive anyway. Read more
Family reunion (20 adults) visited this place. Service was good, but watch your receipts. We ordered 2 Centnario bottles, 1 Don... Julio because they said they were out of Centenario so we opted for Don Julio. They charged us for 3 Don Julio $160 each. Weasked them why they were charging 3 don julios? Per manager, thats the price for any bottle. We do not think its fair pricingsince we know a Centenario is WAY CHEAPER than a Don Julio bottle. Thank u to the waitress for treating us well, but it was thefirst and LAST time we consume at this place. I?ll take my family elsewhere, where they are truthful and fair with their prices. Read more
