This review is for our private event and the AMAZING ROXY! We hosted our engagement party in the back bar area of Matilda's.... Roxy was so very attentive through the entire planning & setup process. I know I emailed her like a hundred questions and shealways answered and didn't get sick of me lol. I’ve had both my 30th bday and wedding after party at BabyAtlas and both times have been such a blast!!! Roxy is amazing to... work with and made sure the food was set out and the space was ready for our arrival. I know we’ll have more events there tocome, it really is perfect. Highly recommend!! Matilda’s is a Lakeview hidden gem! The staff is amongst the friendliest and most knowledgeable bar staff that I have met in... the city. The cocktails are incredible and very reasonably priced, music selection is amazing, and there is no shortage of tvsto catch whatever game is on. It’s a perfect place to go out with a group that all wants something different out of theirevening, Matilda’s has something for everyone. Read more
Went for trivia which was a good time. For the first ten minutes, there was no water available because something was wrong with... it and making it taste "soapy," according to our waiter. I do not recommend eating here--the salad I had was bitter and thechicken seemed old. The place has a nice vibe and staff were nice. Read more
Michigan fan here.. First time in to the bar from out of town. Didn't make much sense to me that as a bar that touts itself as a... watch party bar that they would schedule an event taking up one half of the building. The waitress we had was great.. Very kindand attentive. *Edited and adjusted rating: thanks for your reply and clarification - I didn't even take that into account. Wedid have a good time and the staff there was great.
