In town for a few days and had high hopes of getting some quality Chinese while I was here. I was disappointed. To get to the... point if you want a lot of food for cheap, (eggrolls were the biggest I have seen) then you will like this place. If you wantquality traditional Chinese with lots of flavor then go somewhere else. The huge eggrolls had no flavor. The chicken chow meinthat I ordered because it is a universal dish that any restaurant should be able to make had zero flavor. It isn't a spicydish to begin with, but it should have white pepper, soy sauce and maybe some garlic/ginger but this had nothing. This place islike most other Chinese restaurants today. It seems they are trying to hold costs down by not using any spice. Read more

Entering this place is like waking into a time machine to visit 1960s through early 1980s. Everything from its deco to the way... the entrees are prepared are as if the time stood still. It may not be the go-to spot for many but anyone for anyone cravingnostalgia of what midwestern Chinese restaurants were like several decades ago, this is a must place. Read more

For the price I paid I expected the food to taste better. The shrimp lo mein was very peculiar because it came in a gooey clear... sauce (I’m used to it being prepared in a brown sauce). It tasted mediocre at best but was fresh and hot to say the least. Thecrab rangoons were average. The best part arguably was the vegetable egg rolls unfortunately. Definitely won’t be coming back. Friday night family dinner. This place is a gem and reminds me of a classic 1970s Cantonese American style cuisine. All our... choices were wonderful. Place was quiet but we had dinner very late. Definately a place for dinner rotation when in the area. Read more
