Went to Mehraab with the family to have brunch today. Very faulty,disgusting and rude customer service. There were hair on each ... of the food items. No one from the restaurant apologized or didn't feel sorry for their carelessness. The old guy who seems tobe Muslim person said he is the owner of the restaurant but very sorry to say instead of being sorry or being nice he wasarrogant and speaking rude with female. None of the staff seems to be polite or decent enough to take care of thisissue(unhygienic food and unwashed spoons) and responsibility. Will be reporting to the Food Inspection Bureau. They charged forthe food which we didn't even eat after seeing the hair on the food items. My daughter was about to puke seeing unhygienicfood. Never going to visit again. Read more
Super friendly service, huge servings of tasty rice and chicken Would be 5 stars but the setting wasn?t particularly clean-... there were a few small insects in the corners. I definitely hope to be back though :) Read more
Wonderful spot for lunch. The Mini Tiffin includes a variety of food for $10.99. Also try the Pani Puri.
Amazing food. I just felt like having food in India. Very happy - tasty food, the spices and flavor are much appreciated and... recommend this restaurant for sure, in case you are looking for authentic South Indian tiffins. I dined in and had the mini tiffen. Also, had ordered carry out from them as well. Had ordered out the medu vada, masala dosa... and the mutton haleem and all the food was very delicious and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be ordering from themagain. Read more
I?d give Mehrab Restaurant a 3.5. The Mini Tiffin Deal included 1 Masala Dosa, 2 Idlis, and 1 Vada. Super delicious with the... chutneys. The texture of the masala dosa was crispy and the filling was flavorful. I?d come back for the mini tiffin. Giving theplace 3 because we were not a fan of the Biryani rice which had some pieces of chicken that were very cold. While the biryaniwas not worth the price, the mini tiffin meal was worth the visit. Definitely come here for the Masala Dosa. Read more
True value for money with a lot of options , I had the Vegetarian Thali ( South India Style ) it had 7 different curries , 2... Desserts rice and Chapati which is just insane for $15 I?ve heard they are starting Chicken Shawarma Middle East style fromNext can?t wait for it as well Read more
The haleem here is amazing . Must try . Hidden spot in chicago for all Hyderabadi and South Indian food .
