I went today Wednesday 01/16/2019 morning to this place to get my coffee. My order was extra hot caramel machiato and the lady... at the register put the proper order. The guy (Asian) at the machine made it just normal and when I asked him that if I can haveextra hot, he doesn't even want to talk until I called him excuse 4-5 times doesn't even want to reply, again I am back to thecashier and I told her what happen, she told him to make it extra hot, he warmed it up and throw it on the table. I paid forthe coffee 7 dollars(with the tip) and I didn't expect to get such services at international airport. I was almost on thebottom of line to call my credit card company and decline that payment. Because I throw that coffee . It was not at all caramelMachiato. Please the management has to make sure to teach the employees what a customer service means. Read more
Chai was really good. I got a 12oz hot chai. Taste was really good.
This is not a Metropolis coffee shop. It?s a grab n go cafe that happens to serve Metropolis beans. If you?re looking for good... craft coffee they just don?t have the trained staff or equipment for proper espresso or pour over drinks. They?re basically aStarbucks with good beans. Read more
Tricked into thinking it was an actual Starbucks, I spent quite bit and no credits in return
I don't know about other drinks and eats but coffee is just awful here.
I Would give 3 stars. Arrival is small and has very limited seatings. I liked the TV showing who is coming out of the only 2... gates. If they can add 2 more it will be less crowded. Upstairs departures is OK too. I side it's nice. Read more
If you have time in your check in at Terminal 5 ORD, Metropolis Coffee is the right place for all the reasons to hang out at.... Look out for Arki & Nadia they welcome & treat you with great hospitality & smile. :) Good Work guys!! Read more
