Nella Pizza e Pasta has been a Chicago staple for me since they were in Lincoln Park. Their food is top quality and rivals any... sort of Neapolitan pizza you can get in Italy. The Diavola is a favorite! I always feel welcome in the restaurant and the staffis so friendly. Could not recommend it more! Read more
Wow. My wife picked this place for its reviews and ratings and they were everything they were raved about. I for got a pic for... the calamari and shrimp appetizer and it was perfect. They served olive oil, cheese and bread with our generous drinks, verynice. We shared a risotto dish that we’ve never tried before and couldn’t have prepared for how unique and delicious it was.Add to that a capocollo, artichoke, black olives and cheese flat bread that was outstanding. I also tried the Amaro Montenegroafter dinner digestive and now have another mix I need to add to our home liquor selection. All in all, a fine Italian pizzeriato add to our list of great places to eat. Read more

Order the Vesuvio “stuffed” pizza. It was delicious. The calamari was also a hit. I ordered it twice. The lamb pasta... didn’t look like much when it arrive but the taste was good so that’s most important. We went on a weekday evening and itwas busy. We had long wait times. The staff were overall friendly but I believe the service would have been better if staffingwas increased. Our final bill was $120… not cheap. I’ll be back one day but I’ll share an entree and skip the secondserving of calamari. Read more

I came here twice. The 1st time was last year for my birthday(2021). Good food and good service. Now the review is solely on my... recent visit on June 19th 2022. I took my kids, and husband here for Father's day for a dinner. Now my husband doesn't eat porkwhich is why he ordered lamb chops with potatoes and peas. Now this is important to put asterisks for the menu items so peopleknow what's in it. We read that menu thoroughly and nowhere did it say that the dish he had was suppose to have pork but it did.He noticed it in the peas. When we told the waitress she seemed disinterested as if we wanted a free meal. Now instead of sayingsorry or at least offering half off or anything, we, well i did pay with a tip. Just know because of that happening we won'tever order or go to the restaurant again. This is not how you do business and I understand why businesses fail and also whypeople don't want to eat out anymore. Read more
