This is the best Pepe's on the south side of Chicago, they cook authentic Mexican food and they don't skimp on your portions. I... haven't been there in over 25 years and I happen to be in the area so I stopped for a burrito. Like I said it was gigantic anddelicious. All the other Pepe's serve taco size burritos. I visited the restaurant and ordered 3 of the $1.50 Tuesday taco special. I ordered 3 beef tacos with no cheese and extra... lettuce. I was charged $0.30 extra to have extra lettuce on all 3 tacos. I was also charged an additional $0.23 for using mydebit card. The tacos were fresh and good . I would have given the review more stars and I didn?t because I was chargedadditional money. Read more
I use to love this place. But yesterday when I got my tacos on taco Tuesday they was horrible. I was wondering why they mad my... food in like 3 minutes. That was to fast. I should of followed my first mind and took that shyt back up there. EVEN THE MEATDIDNT LOOK DONE AT ALL. MEAT WAS RUNNING LIKE WATER.. Them tacos made made me sick yesterday.
