We have gotten pizza and more from here through the years. I always mainly just wanted pizza. The Phil's special. It was very... filling. Well in the middle of September I was saying to family what's wrong with Phil's pizza. It's not the same to me anymore.The pizza looked sloppy. Like the ingredients were dropped from five feet in the air. It didn't taste yummy and deliciousanymore. That flavor just isn't there anymore. Well to my surprise the original owner sold Phil's pizza. The last two times Iordered pizza we got fries that honestly didn't look like they were even dropped in oil.They arrived cold. If the new ownerchanged the quality of his food products meaning buying cheaper everything, that's a bad move. The last pizza we got 2 weeks agomy daughter tried a piece after just arriving home and she said "where's this pizza from" I said Phil's as usual. She said it'snasty. I knew then and there I wouldn't be buying any more pizza's from here. I'm done with Phil's pizza. That's it. No more.Try Mug's pizza in Des Plaines. Also one on Harlem and Touhy. Mug's pizza was always my 1st choice just a little further totravel. Had paper plates with me we sat in car and ate some while it was piping hot. SO SO DELICIOUS!! Consistently great pizza. Some of the best i've had! My neighbor used to bring one over to me every now and again and I got... hooked. Pepperoni under the cheese with green peppers on top. The BEST! Read more
A trip back home to Chicago for me isn't complete until I've eaten an amazing thin crust pie from Phil's pizza D'Oro and the... perfect Italian sub from Tony's Italian deli & subs. Living in Atlanta now makes it hard to find a crispy thin crust and thatgood Italian sausage Chicago has. Combine that with the sauce at Phil's and you have a masterpiece. Read more

Welp, there is no food left to take a picture but let me tell you it was finger licking delicious. Not only is the food... delicious but the customer service is top notch, they are attentive, caring, patience, and friendly. I felt like family. Nexttime I?m in town I know I will be back. This has been our family best Pizza for over 20 years, never had a bad pizza, since the new owners took over the last 2 months... every time we ordered the pizza has been very different, not good.we have been hoping it was just a one time thing but the lastone we ordered was terrible so we had to start ordering from Dino's and very pleased with that pizza.
