I’ve been coming here for years and the food is absolutely delicious. Literally everything on the menu will be full of flavor... . From the fresh bread to the salads to the pasta dishes to the Stromboli and pizza to the Salmon dinner you will not bedisappointed I promise you. The rigatoni and gnocchi in vodka sauce are phenomenal. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilledchicken and vegetables. The calamari was amazing, my mother loved her Mela Verde salad and the Salmon Dinner was excellent, thesauce they use is to die for. We even dipped our bread in it. Try everything, give these people all of your money!!! Highlyrecommend stopping at this establishment if you’re ever in Chicago. Read more
Pompei is always a good choice while in Little Italy. We were looking for a late night bite on a Tuesday evening and this was... everything we needed. You walk in, order and pay at the counter, and they hand you a number for you to bring to your table. Patio available with nice... weather.. Super quick and friendly service! Prices are not the cheapest but decent for the food received. I agree with anotherreviewer that it should be $$ rather than $ as it was close to $20 for food and a drink per person, not including appetizerswith most items. Food was good and as a bread and butter addict, I always enjoy when restaurants provide those right after yousit down at no cost???????? Have been coming here for a few years now. NOTE: Paying with card includes an extra charge, so bringcash if possible. Update: Since I work nearby I've been coming here very often for dine-in and takeout lunch. The PastaFagioli, Minestrone, Chili and Ceasar Salads are all very good and always come with bread/butter or crackers on the side! Read more
