I find it hard to believe how this place is rated even two stars. The fries tasted like gasoline, the manager special consisted... of three wings of chicken. When I asked about it, they belligerently told me ?what did you want??. Frightened, I walked away$26.90 poorer, still hungry and potentially stricken with dysentery. Best Popeyes. Customer service was very friendly and the food was hot and delicious! Ordered their popcorn shrimp combo. This is... better than other Popeyes stores in the area. Today it was exceptional. I have to give them credit on the service. The shrimpwas fresh & hot. and the taste was spot on the way it should be. This is the best seafood combo meal that I have tasted when itcomes to fast food. Read more
I love Popeyes, however, the workers there were incredibly rude. They weren?t serving anything else besides chicken tenders,... drinks and biscuits. Which is typically okay but no one knew and there was a huge line since it was after Lollapalooza. Theworker yelled at my boyfriend and I and was like ?Oh my god no tenders!? and I?m not sure if she was yelling at us and trying totell people in the back of the line that they were only serving tenders but it could?ve been handled a different way. Usuallyfast food restaurants would have signs up that say what they are serving. She also gave me attitude about how they are onlygiving away barbecue sauce. She was so rude, she was not friendly at all and I get that they were busy, but you can?t be rude toa customer it looks bad on your part. Read more
Every time I go to the city from the suburbs, I look forward to arriving at the train station and getting my popeyes fix on;... sadly, this is the second time in a row with significant issues. The first time was a communication issue with an employee whogets paid to mumble. When I expressed, "I can't hear you, one more time?" I was greeted with laughter on my face. I was notamused and left empty-handed. No complaint was filed, as the manager witnessed the event; I assumed it would have been addressedappropriately with additional training. After all, this is a customer service position. Today, I ordered two #4 combo mealswith a drink, nothing complicated. Unfortunately, I was left empty-handed and was waiting for fifteen minutes to get my order.When I addressed the staff, there was no rush or care; they ignored me, didn't provide my receipt, and didn't get my meal. Whenasked for a refund because this delay almost caused us to miss our train (leaving in 90 seconds), I was REFUSED reimbursementfor an entire order never provided. As the two of us ran to make our train due to this entire staff's lack of time management,we are now taking a two-hour ride back to the burbs....starving and additional out-of-pocket expenses ($24) with a promisedservice that was never fulfilled. I will be contacting corporate over this, as it was the only negative review I have evergiven a company on a google platform. Considering a few hundred reviews written for our community, that takes seriouseffort. In addition, I will be seeking reimbursement for the meal which was never provided. The organization is a significantissue at this specific location; had they called out order numbers and provided receipts, all of this would have been avoidable. Read more
Typically I love Popeyes, however the Chicken sandwich here was super dry and borderline inedible. Had much better experiences... at other locations, this one just lacks effort and quality. Read more
Every Popeyes must be great but this Popeyes is genuinely fantastic. Their chickens are extremely crispy and always fresh and... hot. The owner is amazingly hard worker that I had to leave a review. They?re particularly great at frying so their chicken andfries are abnormally great for your yummy tummy. I don?t lie, you know me. Just grab 3 pieces of the best Popeyes chickens in 1minute!
