The only reason why it has 2 stars because the lady who serviced me was very sweet. Other than that, the reviews was correct. I... was really hungry and this was a quick bite before work. Question, how does one claim to give out fresh chicken but when I ateit, it was old? Also the biscuit was so soggy that it was literally falling apart when I touched it. With all the reviews youwould think corporate would look into this and help but their just pathetic and looking for a quick buck and not the customerswants. I won't come back. Read more
So i got pulled up for two apple pies and a small fry. This is one of the apple pies they gave me. I immediately drove back... around and asked why would this establishment serve food that looks like someone bit off it. She said that?s how they come and Iresponded no I go to Popeyes all the time and I have never been given a pie like this. She gave me another one and said oh itprobably fell in the grease. I promise you don?t ever come to this Popeyes. If They are ok with serving food that looks likethis then they are not providing good customer service. Oh and the fries were cold as well. Read more
Waited about 12 minutes in the line (two cars in front of me) at the drive thru window before someone finally took my order. The... woman taking orders sounded like she hated her job. We ordered the 10 piece family meal, with two large sides (we requestedCajun fries and red beans & rice) and 5 biscuits. When I got to the window, she asked me if I wanted mild or spicy chicken, Irequested mild, then she asked me to pull off to the side because they had to wait on the fries and biscuits. We ended upwaiting for the fries/biscuits about 15 additional minutes (for a total of about a 30 min wait). I could tell the fries andbiscuits were fresh but the wait was way too long. The Popeye's restaurant at 5050 S Cicero Ave. on Chicago's south-westside was in a horribly dirty state at the time of my visit... on the evening of December 29th. Trash & disgarded food was scattered throughout the floors & various food items littered thecountertops. It was my first visit to this establishment & will certainly be my last. The staff was uncaring & arrogant.Employees routinely stepped over visible trash & discarded food scattered throughout the floors. The manager at that timenoticed I was taking pictures & asked why? As I pointed out the filthy state of the restaurant he offered me "extra" chicken ifi we're to stop taking photos. (What a joke!) Garbage receptacles were over-flowing, filled to the brim & had spilled over ontothe floors. The place is a health hazard & has no business being in the food service business to the public. Read more
This store has some of the best managers. Me and my kids come here all of the time for the food and most importantly the Great... service that they provide. My kids love coming here they know exactly what we want because we come on A regular. I wouldrecommend this to everyone, friends, family EVERYONE! Read more
I ordered a 6 piece chicken tender meal with fries and received an extremely over cooked meal. Chicken tenders were almost burnt... and dry. I went back to Popeyes and I was given a freshly made batch! The employees were more than happy to replace my order andmake it right! Read more
Drive thru shut down and went inside to order. Cashier friendly and the red shirt manager, Ravon, did all he could to keep the... flow going. The tongs hit the floor and the cashier reached back, picked them up and proceeded to place the in the food. Heimmediately stopped her. The hangin reciept fell in the gravy and he took it out and covered the tray. Told him we didn't wantany mashed potatoes and gravy and he kindly said no problem. This location is the last Popeyes I?ll ever visit and spend money with again you deserve -0 stars. They have unprofessional... employees greeting you and serving you disgusting old rotten food. Like seriously it is ridiculous this place is still open. Youhad one job a simple #4 why would you serve people this as a side.
