My wife love the pasta here but after they took the chicken carbonara from the menu we never come back
I love this place in River North. The baked spaghetti is amazing. The make your own salad is great too. High energy and fun.
Barnelli's Pasta Bowl offers great Italian food in a fast casual atmosphere. The decor of the restaurant is very "Chicago" full... of memorabilia and collectibles from Chicago's history. The restaurant shares the building with Portillo's which makes theirmenu vast. I enjoyed the chicken parmesan sandwich. I wasnt there to eat. I deliver for Door dash. I hope I never ever have to pick up any customer food there ever again. This is... the slowest, incompetent Barnelli Portillos I've ever been too. Kept forgetting items in peoples order. Mixed up orders anddistasteful attitudes. If the customer service is this poor for us delivery drivers. I can only imagine what its like eatingthere. Portillos is one of those classic chicago-area restaurants that you just need to go to! The hot dogs, shakes, malts, and fries... are incredible, along with basically anything else you can order. This location in particular has very speedy service and thestaff is generally friendly and responsive. I would definitely go to this location again. Read more
I had a chicken pasta in white sauce and my friend had a pizza. Both were incredibly tasty. The ingredients in the pasta were so... fresh! So delicious... and the atmosphere is nice, something like a market place with a lot of cool items on display. Also greatvalue for money. Highly recommended. Read more
After getting rid of so many of their popular pasta dishes I will not come back.. very disappointing!
