Traditional American fast food chain. Good option for a quick bite to eat. I often stop by for malt shakes. They are well known... for their hot dogs. One hot dog with everything and aside is usually enough to fill me up. Pros: In room dining is very nice fora fast food joint. They have many different locations all with different indoor themes. Lots of choices. You can go and eat adifferent thing every day. Drive through ordering is a breeze. Cons: Restaurant food costs are moderately pricey. Read more
First time at the Chicago institution known as Portillo's, and I really enjoyed the experience. Not sure I could say the food is... significantly better than most fast food restaurants, but the atmosphere is uniquely Chicago which makes it a fun experience.The restaurant is clean with lots of space between tables, and they serve beer! We shopped in Skokie but wanted to stop on here. This is the closest Portillo's to our crib aka Apartment. Last time we drove... past when you just opened and saw too many folks. We didn't want to stop in, but come at another time. A lot less folks tonightand we wanted to ???? check this location out too! Well, love it! I actually got a Bacon Cheeseburger w/extra pickles, SmallOnion Rings & Candy Cane Vanilla Shake. My sister got the Char- Grilled Polish Sausage, Small Onion Rings, Small Iced Tea.
