My favorite sandwich is the chicken salad sandwich on multigrain. Service was slow last night.
As far as Potbelly?s go, this is a very friendly location. They always have my order ready on time & they are great at making... sure to ask if you need anything additional. Hi, I was sorry to see that a rude condescending comment from the manager to my wife when she was asking for a valid doubt about... the size of the bottle of water of a kid?s combo was enough to ruin our experience at the Southport location. The manager didn?teven apologize after and she seemed to be smiling while ignoring when my wife got back to her. Not so clever having staffworking for you with this unacceptable attitude towards clients or should I say ex clients. This was just a few minutes ago.Hope you do something about it. Read more
Great food! And, when I was accidentally charged $10 too much for my meal, but didn?t notice it until the next day, I called and... they searched for my transaction and are issuing the correct refund to properly charge me. Very helpful and friendly! Read more

This is my first visit at the Southport location. I waited in line 3 people ahead of me. So, I waited in line the sandwich maker... was new on the job as I heard. He didn't bother to acknowledge me! Another clerk who was training him told me to be patient? Ihad not said a thing? Curious, I waited and noticed that the lady customer ahead of me was waiting for her sandwiches thereseemed to be a mix up? And they had to redo her order and a guy next to me was waiting on his to be done. Then 2 other guys werewaiting for there food too! And still this sandwich maker didn't say the proper saying nor bother to look up at me. I couldhave walked out? But I didn't still waiting, the trainee says "What do you want? I asked my question, He said I don't know? Letme ask a manager? Waiting again then he says "NO"? I'm not mad, But 1st you don't look up say the stores slogan? Then stilldon't acknowledge me the customer, I told both of them I understand, the manager was new at this location he works at theLincoln Square Potbelly Shop. I told the manager he apologized and gave me a free cookie! And again apologizes for thesituation. Another lady clerk asks me what sandwich did I order? I didn't I just wanted a Strawberry Shake and I bought 1 SugarCookie, and these bagged Cheesy Puffs. And I got a Free Sugar Cookie, due to an error. Then the manager says I'm so sorry youwere treated that way we are not supposed to ignore you the customer but he's new? I thought so. Then he offered up a freesandwich on the house? I said sure, But I won't come back to this Southport location! I can do the Lincoln Square shop it'scloser to me. He said "Hey that's my old store? He seemed much happier. Just let me know when you pop in. Sure, later in theweeks? Then I paid for my Strawberry Shake, Cheesy Puffs and my 1 Sugar Cookie.
