I despise these "new" Potbelly layouts. This place is devoid of any character and the experience basically answers the question... "What is Subway could get even more generic?". I'll avoid this location whenever possible and head to the one on Lincoln or atNorth and Wells instead. Read more

I asked for a bowl of potato soup for my wife and instead was given a cup. The manager was insistent that I get back in line to... correct their error. Buyer beware! Read more

I love potbelly?s food; but the actual service in this specific location is horrible. There?s no sense of urgency with the staff... there. One day I walked in and three people just stared at me from the back almost as if they were debating who was going totake my order and wasted majority of my 30 minute lunch break waiting for my sandwich at dirty tables. thinking I possiblysaved some time and headache today I ordered and apparently whoever made my sandwich isn?t a fan of reading because I asked forno hummus but to add Mayo and I got a nice spread of hummus along with the Mayo making for an extra soggy sandwich. Meh. I giveup. Do better. Or hire college students or high school students who actually care about their jobs. Read more

This store is what happens when a chain decides it wants to fix what isn't broken, change its format to be like other fast food... , and ends up confusing customers and providing poor service. When I walk into a Potbelly I expect to place my order, customizemy toppings, and then pay. That's how Potbelly works, both at the original Lincoln Ave location and at every other PotbellyI've been to...except this one. Here, they make you pay up front at a register, and if they don't ask you what toppings youwant, you won't know to ask, because why would a Potbelly have standard toppings? That's not what Potbelly does...except itdoes here. I went over to the toppings side and patiently waited to tell the staff what I wanted, and was flabbergasted whendone random toppings were thrown on and I was handed the sandwich before I could process what was going on and sayanything. This setup probably is an attempt to better accommodate online orders, and it might be fine if you're a customer thatdoesn't know better, but I won't be patronizing this location again. The experience is not what I expect from Potbelly, andbarring a renovation of the store it's not likely to change. Read more

The restaurant staff was very good. they were kind and respectful and got my order right. they even took the extra time to... double check to make sure that everything was in order. also I observed an employee taking extra care and washing their handsand even after adjusting their mask. they took hygiene very seriously. also it's worth that the restaurant was clean all thetables were wiped down and social distancing was put in place. The food was good I quite enjoyed potbelly as a quick andefficient meal. The store is conveniently located amongst many other shopping centers and is an ideal location for shoppers. Read more
