This is our go to sushi restaurant. The fish is always fresh. (I really noticed when we tried a one price/plate place.) We have... our go to favorites, but have tried The Mafia, Anne, and other special rolls too. We only get sushi, but have brought non-sushieaters who raved about the Italian food - apparently the owner also has an Italian joint in the burbs. We always have a greatexperience and great service. Now this place is a hidden gem! I literally had the worst day of 2022, and I was happy that it ended here. Long story short, I... totaled my car hours before I came here which resulted in me taking it to a nearby collision shop for repair. Almost directlyacross the street I seen what appeared to be a restaurant, didn’t even know what, but I was so hungry I didn’t care. Uponarrival I was delighted to find out that it actually was a sushi restaurant with a relatively diverse pallet that includes sushiof course, but also familiar favorites like fried chicken and Asian inspired adaptations of American cuisine. In other words ifyou have a mom like I do that no matter where you go, or how fancy the restaurant is, she’s going to order friend chickenperiodt. So this place is probably a good option for those going on a first date and not worrying if your partner isn’t goingto like what’s on the menu because it’s something on there for everyone, even kids. Not only was the food exceptional but sowas the service, from the delivery of my food to taking out what I had left. You’ll be happy to leave a tip here. This place is spectacular! Hidden Gem! The staff was helpful, kind and attentive. The sushi was incredible The Black Monster and... Medusa were our favorites.
