Good chicken and fries. The staff is laid back and very nice. Chicken was very good but there are a lot of good chicken places... around (daves, chick filet) but this time around, i had a biscuit, and this is definitely where they outshine others. It was thebest biscuit I've ever had. Delicious! Read more

The chicken was good but the outside was dry. The cucumber coleslaw was very refreshing. Service was good but slow because there... was only one server and she was in charge of all the tables. Read more

Never disappointed with this place. Everything on the menu is fantastic, the portions are huge, and the vegetarian chicken patty... is a great addition for folks with a meat-free diet. You can't go wrong with dine-in or take-out. Read more

Wow? I?m super disappointed. I?ve heard good things, but I can?t say Roost met my expectations. The flavor is kinda all over... the place. I got the Mac and cheese, green beans, and two chicken tacos. The cole slaw didn?t match the flavor profile of thechicken what so ever and the chicken was very tough. I?ve never had a tough chicken tender before. The green beans are supervinegary/ sour. Simply odd. The mac n cheese (which I was somehow charged double for) has a ?pastey? taste which reminded me ofhigh school cafeteria food. There was also a bone in my chicken tender that nearly broke my crown. My first visit and it did not disappoint. Ordered a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. It was hot but not... too hot. The chicken was tender and it comes with two sides. I got Mac and cheese which was very creamy and good. You can getthe sandwich on a bun or a biscuit I chose to get it on a bun cuz I felt it would hold up better. But I got a biscuit as one ofmy two sides. The biscuit was outstanding very soft tender and excellent. You can tell that they are homemade and have realbutter in them. Really enjoyed the meal it was nice to sit down in the restaurant and be served. Our server was outstanding andhe was very friendly. I look forward to returning and on the recommendation of the server I might try the extra hot next time. You also could get a sauce on your sandwich which I got the hot honey and that was very enjoyable and also had the sandwichtopped with coleslaw which cuts down on the heat of the national hot and was enjoyable. When in the area try this location orthere are other location closer into the city but I do highly recommend their sandwich and sides. Read more

It was really good! A little pricey, but I am also not used to Chicago prices. The sandwichs and fries are really good, but I... did not care for the green beans. I also do not like dill and I think that it was used to flavor them. Read more

Honestly, the best chicken sandwich I have found. Fries were also top-tier. I enjoyed eating here and would come again. The... peach cobbler was a bit more like bread pudding in my opinion, good but unexpected personally. Prices were about $16-$18 for abig meal. I would love it if it was maybe a dollar or so less, with slightly smaller portions though, because I couldn't helpeating it all, which was a bit much for me. Read more

Chicken wasn't spicy and they forgot my Chipotle mayo so it was a little dry from the trip. Fries were overcooked (forgot to get... a picture before tossing) and so was the bread pudding and peach cobbler. Only saving grace was the biscuit. Peach cobbler wasmore like a peach dump cake, and the bread pudding was dry too. Read more
