I WISH I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING. I am so terribly disappointed! I order the turkey wing dinner with mac & cheese and... greens, fried chicken wings, and 3 jerk tacos. The turkey wing was so tough I couldn't chew it. I cut it and the inside was palered. The Mac and cheese noodles were so overcooked they were like mush. The greens have good flavor but had so many stems. Thefried wings had a good flavor. I only had 2 full tacos. The 3rd one had 2 cubes of chicken and onions. It took over 2 hours toget my meal. The breakfast was amazingly good. I had grits and shrimps. The were seasoned very well. They have a nice variety to choose from.... Next I'll try the chicken and waffles. I highly recommend this place. Read more
I ordered from UberEats and it was a COMPLETE rip off!! Let?s start with the fact they MAKE you pick 4 sides (dinners come with... 2) and then charge you for them. I ordered jumbo shrimp and from the picture you can see they were anything but jumbo. They weredry and seemed to be refried. They were basically inedible. The greens were salty as well. At this point I don?t even want toeat any of the other food. I?ll definitely be requesting my money back from UberEats. Read more
I ordered through DoorDash, the bbq jerk chicken tips, Mac and cheese and yams. Everything was good. The bbq jerk chicken were a... little too spicy... Next time I'll ask them to be easy on the jerk sauce. Cost me $15.00 for the meal... Of course DoorDashtacted on their fees... I'll be ordering again but going to pick it up myself. Ok so I ordered again today March 28th throughDoorDash... I was trying to write a new review for today's order but didn't know how... Anyway... As you can see the Mac ncheese looks dried out and I didn't get a corn muffin with my order this time. I tried calling the store several times but thephone kept going to voicemail. I even called Ruby's other location and the lady who answered couldn't give me a number to call,she just said the Chicago Ave location was their franchise. I guess I have to contact DoorDash. Paid $15 for the meal and $6 for the cobbler. Chicken is bland, Mac and cheese is nasty and a weird color. Sweet potatoes arent... sweet and mostly mushed (maybe because they didn?t have enough for a full order.) Peach cobbler was the best part of the meal,but they doesn?t mean it was good either.
