I ordered over DoorDash, and there were large pieces of eggshell in my waffles. After the second bite and I was still crunching,... I threw the plate away and got a refund. I've made plenty of waffles and pancakes at home, and I've eaten at several otherbreakfast places, and I've never crunched on an eggshell. Read more
I ask for sides to go with my chicken and they totally disappointed me..... I mean I barley had greens in the cup it came in and... I have had them before so I know how much is usually in the cup. I hope they do better because the food is good but this.......no excuse. Read more
I wanted to try another place as Chicago has questionable food in general ...I am so baffled as to how is this place serving... food? Fries were overcooked, dry and old. Coleslaw literally tastes sour (so sad). The portion sizes are a joke. I was in the neighborhood and stopped to get something to eat. First time here and I ordered (3) Jr. fish sandwiches, (3)... Buttery pound cake, and (3) Peach cobblers. Everything was good. The fish and French fries were cooked just right (not greasyand not over-seasoned) I will be back again!!! Read more

My sister and I went to Sam Sylk's and the food was very good and cooked the way I ordered it. I got the jumbo shrimp dinner... and it was good. The only thing that was good/bad was the shrimps looked like they were medium shrimps instead of jumbo, butthey were very good. I will be going back again but I will order the medium shrimp dinner instead. Sam Sylk's have a customerfor life. Read more
Recently visited this establishment for the first time an I ordered the chicken sandwich with ???? fries. ???? from that it gave... me a good impression being that it was the first time ordering from this establishment, the sandwich was freshly made withlettuce an ???? tamato mayo on fresh lightly toasted bun served with some freshly cooked ???? lightly salted for taste. One ofthe best thing about my experience was the reasonable price, despite the madness of most businesses that think of raising theirprices is an outrage.
