I'm back in the old hood and enjoying the delicacies! This place has the perfect comfort food that is cheap and warm on a cold... Winter day! Stopped by here, as always ordered the orange chicken lunch special with chicken fried rice to test the waters.Order was done in less than 10 minutes. To my surprise the special doesn't come with a drink (which I regretted instantly oncethe food initially went down the wrong pipe and started a coughing fit!) Still, I powered through it and to the Orange Chickenwas cooked perfectly with an excellent balance between crispiness and tenderness, nothing like the "chicken sponge" that otherplaces *cough* China Fast Wok *cough* serve. The orange sauce was light and a bit too sugary though, but it wasn't too much tohandle. The Chicken fried rice was pretty average. No vegetables or eggs were cooked with the rice which you would see in betterrecipes. Nonetheless it all hit the spot. Everything in the end came out to 7.85 for a modified lunch special which is great forthe sheer amount of food you get! Overall, definitely going to keep this place in mind for my Chinese food orders in thefuture.
