This restaurant was recommended to me by one of my Ethiopian friends and it did not disappoint. The goden tibs was suggested and... it was the star of the show. Cooked to perfection! It was perfectly seasoned, crispy but also melt in your mouth deliciousness. This is a must try. We also got the chicken and beef sambusa. I personally liked the beef over the chicken but both were stillvery good. I will be returning very soon to try the other items on the menu. Read more

I mourn the fact that I don't live somewhere with food this good. I shared a sampler platter with a group of friends and was... absolutely blown away. The staff (and other people in the restaurant) were incredibly friendly and I feel lucky to have stumbledupon this gem. Don't let yourself miss out! Read more

I had injeras and sambusas both filled with spinach and lentils. It was good and flavorful, though tbh I don't really like the... injera bread. Also I felt like they gave me too much of it. This was my first time eating Ethiopian cuisine. Read more

The staff are very helpful and the portions are great. Some of the curries tasted exactly the same to me but still very good.... It’s clean inside and the waiter taught us to eat with our hands! Read more

This is my favorite Ethiopian restaurant for authentic Ethiopian cuisine. The owner is amazing as the butcher on premise to... guarantee the freshest meat. Tiegist is the best waitress and so warm and friendly with helping to educate me on Ethiopianculture. Read more

WOW! FREAKEN WOW! I'd add a pic of the food but we finished it =). We got the meat plater and vegi plater. All of it was... amazing but the Doro wot, it just hits your taste buds differently. Bread was interesting. Taste salty but itself but whenadding to the food it's the perfect complement. The wife hand makes the food in the back. Had a small chat with her. Verypassionate of her food, won't just hand it off to anyone, especially the ones that are family recipes. Highly recommended, already missing the taste and planning my next visit. Read more
