Stopped in on a whim for dinner the first time the other night and it was pretty good! The atmosphere has kind of a "local... joint" friendliness to it and my server was incredible! She wasn't particularly chatty but she took care of everything I needed,half the time before I even asked. As for my food, I had a chicken breast (a little fatty but mostly good) that was accompaniedby their special rice. I did not love the special rice at all and only took a couple of bites. Great service and fantastic food! The chicken was tender, and the meat was medium well! The property was clean, however the way... how our food is served was dirty. Look by yourself at the dishes, every dish looks dirty - the chef could have cleaned a bitbefore serving us, but hey; it’s a simple detail. Waiter, food and taste are TREMENDOUS! I have always wondered about this place so we decided to give it a try. On friday at 7pm there was one person dining at the... restaurant. The vibe is very awkward as the restaurant was silent quiet. The server was very nice and friendly. Our drink cameout right away and were very strong and tasty. We ordered a Ribeye and Filet Mignon. The quality of the meat is good and thetaste is ok. I believe the seasoning was just salt and pepper but the taste was not bad just ok. I do not believe the meat wasfifty dollars worth but it was a steak dinner. Came to this gem after zoo lights. What a great night. We had received a recommendation from a friend to go here based on... their burgers. There were 4 of us. We all got different burgers and we all loved them. I opted for pictured cheddar burger. Every bite was heaven. Service was really awesome. Prices good. Parking easy. Will be back soon. Read more
First tine out-of-towner here. This will be my new must-go-to place though next time I visit! The lobster was cooked to... perfection, and the filet mignon (or as I affectionately referred to it, the "filet mign-yum!") was excellent and so tender! Thecherry on top was when they agreed to indulge me in a special request martini! The staff were so sweet and fun! Definitely amemorable experience worth the price! Read more
I was recommended this steak house out of all steakhouse in Chicago. The food was Amazing, and the service was first class. I... had the 8 oz. Filet. I’ve had Filet steaks all over the USA, and haven’t had one any better. Also it is an independentlyowned business. I challenge anyone in the Chicago area to try them out. I will definitely be back.
