Went after work with a couple friends and the place was pretty empty yet the service was a little slower than I would have... liked. The elite was really good and the tacos were decent so overall a decent experience. First of all? the decor of the place is so nice but the music could be better, it should be not to loud or not to quiet. Please... work on the music. These empanadas that where so small yeah it?s not worth $11 as I paid for. There so tiny that I would of atleast pay $8 for. The drinks where amazing, just perfect. But the bartender took about 4-6 minutes to look for the recipe of thecocktail. He had no idea what in the world was he doing. I didn?t want to stay their any longer because he started to talk tohis other friends so basically he didn?t pay any attention to his customers their. The decor is amazing and fun to see! Thisbartender should have a uniform at least because he had a hat and a shirt and was working with shorts ???? who does that? Veryunprofessional. I need to preface this review by saying I am from San Diego, which is widely regarded to have the best Mexican food in the US.... So what first hit me was that the style of food was very different from what I am used to (and yes, I am very familiar withregional variants). I ordered the cheese enchilada plate with red sauce. It was good enough, but in my opinion, it was like awhite-friendly take on the dish. For example, the rice had green beans in it. The tortillas tasted store bought, and the saucefrom a can. I also am not convinced the salsa was made in house, and I think that the chips were out of a bag, not fresh. Theservice was ok. I came more than an hour before closing, but they seemed more focused on cleaning up than taking my order. Theatmosphere was nice. The right level of lighting and music without being extra.
