I was out running errands and decided to drop by Sip and Savor 53rd for some ice coffee and to recharge my phone and catch up on... some reading. My soy latte with hazel nut was great. An employee came by to wipe down counter next to me so I appreciated howclean they kept it. Read more
Coffee itself was ok'ish but the trash bin was full already 10 in the morning or was it never cleaned, more likely. Anyway the... barista was pleasant and there were some nice choices of coffee Nd pastry. I just do not like places where they cannot affordnormal coffee cups. Single use plastic is unnecessary if I am sitting inside. Read more
I just returned to Chicago and had to visit Sip and Savor, one of my favorite places. I got a delicious Caramel Royal Latte... with oat milk. I came back for the Mocha Bama (The POTUS Hookup). It's delicious iced!!! Read more
My second stop at a Sip & Savor franchise visit. I admit this branch also has a nice pleasant atmosphere too. The hot chocolate... was good here too. This time I had the croissant with butter. I swear that butter was as hard as a brick. Dude must have givenit to me straight from the freezer. That plastic knife barely helped. I would like it if it could be arranged to have the butterheated up like that croissant because that butter never did spread on it. Some places melt the butter on for you so I don't seeno excuse why this place can't do it either. Other than that unpleasant situation with the butter overall this is a nice place. Read more
So I come in this location almost twice a week, my friend and I. So today at 9:30am, 11/28/2022 the young lady (dark skin) at... the register is nonchalant and has a slight attitude, definitely not a a welcoming approach. As black people we have to dobetter how we talk to each other. The coffee is wonderful ?? Read more
