Visiting Chicago from Phoenix. Great food for the price. But the staff is what impressed me. They work hard and are very... courteous. Food came quickly and everyone pitched in to make sure everyone was taken care of. The busser was making andrefilling coffee when all the tables were clean, etc. If you don?t need a fancy breakfast then I definitely suggest you checkthis one out. Read more
Atmosphere was very friendly, service was great with a fresh cup of coffee within several minutes of taking my order. Food came... of the grill piping hot as expected, biscuits were flaky and sausage gravy was creamy . Been eating here for 16 years sometimes a few times a week. Recently I have noticed a surcharge is being added to my bill... sometimes above menu pricing. Waitresses can't explain it. It's called a surcharge receipt says its a tip. No posted noticeinside or outside the building. Today I had breakfast asked about the surcharge and then my bill didn't have it. I thinkrandomize adding expenses to customers bill isn't right and I wonder if certain customers are being targeted by this practice Iplan on tracking my purchases moving forward to see. Have been coming here for years. Since I was little to be exact for special birthday and family lunches. Not the same it used to... be but definitely still a good place to grab a bite. Mickey waffles, great burgers and endless coffee. Right on the corner ofCermack so it's hard to miss. Read more
