Ok, I liked this place and would recommend visiting it. Pros: nice ambiance, they have rooftop, food is really, really good ( we... tried burrata, fried calamari, flatbread, some kale salad, some chips& Mexican sauce). Merlot red wine was perfect! Bartender waspolite ???? Cons: we reserved table on rooftop, but when we came they told us there is a private party and we had to take a seatin patio not on rooftop. My friend ordered virgin margarita and bartender told her it is impossible to make which sounds weirdbecause it is the first choice everywhere when you ask for virgin cocktail. ??????? at the end, one more weird thing. We paidwith cash, and the waiter asked do we need a change. Change was 60$ ???????. We definitely left a tip, but it is his job to giveus a change and then we will leave a tip. That question- do you need a change is unnecessary in my opinion. Regardless thosesmall things I didn’t like, I can tell the place looks nice and I would come back! Read more

I have been coming here since it opened. The experience is outstanding each and every time. There are multiple levels with... indoor and outdoor spaces. On my most recent visit both myself and my companion had the short rib & jam grilled cheese and itwas outstanding! The filet sliders are also a favorite of mine. I have never had anything I didn’t like. The people who runthis place are standup neighborhood people who put their heart and soul into everything they do. I can’t recommend this placeenough. I am always looking for an excuse to go to Edison Park to go here. The last time was for a lunch meeting as a goodhalfway point between downtown and Northbrook. The best part is I know this place is going to be around. This is not a fly bynight that will be under a new name/concept/management in a year or two. This place has long term staying potential. I thinkmy next visit will be on a weekend night with the wife. Read more

We decided to try out this place since it's fairly new. Food was just ok and prices were kind of high for the food we received.... We ordered the filet sliders which were really bland, the grilled cheese with short ribs (not as seasoned as the server hadimplied), Buffalo wings and calamari. The wings and the calamari were good and our server was friendly. We probably won't beback. Read more

Yesterday was my 1st visit and I'll absolutely be back! Started with the Irish Nachos which were a tasty combination of nachos... and potato skins! My favorite app was the calamari with sweet chili sauce...outrageously good! I ordered a skirt steak fordinner and it was cooked perfectly medium. To top it off we recieved excellent service. I had really high hopes for this restaurant after looking at the menu and pictures. However, the overall experience was not... pleasant. I would have to unfortunately say at the price point and considering the food quality, this restaurant is NOT worthit. We had a large party for a birthday and having worked in the food industry in the past, I understand timing things can bedifficult. However, what I saw was quite disastrous. To begin the appetizers were pretty okay. The hummus was a little hard, thecalamari was a bit overcooked and chewy, but very well flavored, the elote was good but room temperature and the fries wereadequate. As for the entrees, they were bad. The linguine carbonara was overall 2/5. the linguine itself was Al dente and thepancetta was tasty however the food came out room temperature and the sauce tasted exactly like a jar alfredo. I included steakwith mine, it was overcooked, dry, room temperature and not seasoned. The chimichurri was appropriately flavored but also roomtemperature. The burgers across the table were also overcooked and room temperature. The Mayo that came out with the burgers hadbeen expired for 10 months. With appetizers in the mid-teen dollar range and entrees between $20 and $50, I expected A LOTMORE. The service was adequate. When they were at the table they had a nice attitude and were kind, however as one member of myparty said, they spent more time talking amongst themselves then waiting the table. We were regularly waiting 10 to 15 minutesto order new drinks. When ordering the drinks, especially beer, they kept getting mixed up. As an aside, they had a beerspecial, $3 domestic draft beers which is pretty solid. however, when I asked the bartender what was on the drink special shementioned modelo, peroni, and Miller lite. I thought "well that's nice they added non domestic to the list" I ordered nondomestic beers at the bar and was only charged $3 for each. When we were seated at the table, I reiterated that fa Read more
