I accidentally ordered from Thai Basil a few months ago instead of my previous go-to Thai place, and it was such a happy... accident. The drunken noodles and pad thai are both exactly what you want in Thai take-out-- chewy noodles, flavorful sauce, afair portion of protein, and ready SO fast. I love that I can order this as I'm leaving work just 8 minutes away and it'll beready when I get there, piping hot. Read more

Best Thai food I've had in Chicago. Pad thai and drunken noodles both with tofu were wonderful.

Pad Thai was lacking tamarind flavor, at least it didn?t have that fake sweet ketchup flavor some restaurants have in their Pad... Thai. and coconut shrimp was waaaaay over breaded. Ordered from Uber eats but wasn?t that impressed. Read more

So lucky to have stumbled on such a great Thai Spot. The food was full of Thai Spices. The Pad Kee Mao noodles were a great... texture and didn't stick together. The beef was seasoned well and every bite was delicious. I didn't even need to order extraspicy. The red curry was full of white meat chicken, spice, and veggies. The meal arrived piping hot, if not I would havedrinken the curry in less than a minute. It really was full of so much flavor. The Crab Rangoons were not your average deepfried goodness. The fried wrapper was thinner and much more crispy and the filling was creamy with real crab meat. Oh and theegg rolls were thinly crispy and just the perfect cherry on top. The staff is very friendly and have great recommendations. Icant wait to go back with a bottle of wine (BYOB) and hit up their romantically lit patio! Read more
