Listen. I visited because I was with a friend and her coworkers. I have never heard of this place. My first concern was if there... would be anything tasty for a vegan/vegetarian. Girl...the avocado burrito is chef's kiss delicious. It's hard to getvegan/vegetarian options that meet the African American seasoning standards. The kitchen at Adelitas understood the assignment.I could not believe how well-seasoned the beans and rice were and then topped with an incredible sauce. It is all love in thefood at Adelitas. We found this restaurant driving by one day and said this must be on our to do list of eateries. Well, today was the day. We... walked in and were the only people eating in, but we were well received by the owner. We started out with a free cup ofdelicious soup that was out of this world. No spoon required. We ordered the tortas and boy we we were surprised by the flavorsin it. A modern twist to traditional tortas. A delicious Chipotle mayo and pickled onions with a soft torta bun. The fries madewith truffle oil and queso Blanco. Yum! Not much offered on the dessert menu, but all in all it was good. It's a must visit anda great add to the Bridgeport neighborhood. Read more

Wow - this place was amazing! We went for dinner on a Friday night and we're shocked that we were the only people there! When... we sat down, they immediately brought us a free cup of soup which was absolutely delicious. We then both ordered the torta, which came with truffle fries. HOLY MOLY those fries were literally some of the best fries I've had in a long time. They werevery clearly freshly cut and absolutely delicious. The torta itself was amazing. It had the perfect mix of textures and flavors- the avocado and pickled onions were just the cherry on top of a delicious sandwich. I'm shocked more people haven'tdiscovered this place yet - it's truly a fantastic place for dinner. Prices were also insanely good. We will certainly be comingback! Read more

Absolutely delicious food made with lots of love, care, and flavor! The pozole is amazing with the most tender pork, flavorful... broth, and yummy chunks of hominy. I can't wait to taste their pozole verde next. Their eggs benedict were just as good with aside of perfectly cooked and seasoned potatoes. In a great neighborhood with tons of free street parking. Doesn't get anybetter! Read more

Me and my fiancé visited this place today and I will say overall it was a good experience. The ambience was quite interesting,... especially the pictures on the wall gave a glimpse of Mexican history. We were served with a complimentary onion soup prior toordering. I would genuinely say it was very delicious. However, I could not find it in their menu (I hope they add it soon). Wealso tried their chicken and veggie enchiladas, which also turned out to be good. I would highly recommend. Read more
