Quality seems to have really gone down hill. We used to frequent this location every month or so, unfortunately the last couple... times haven't been so great. The staff and service is always great, the food, sauce specifically hasn't been the same. The lasttime we came it tasted off the best way I could describe it is a chemical flavor almost like a cleaning product. That is the 2ndtime we noticed that flavor profile on the sauce. Read more

For the weekend I decided to treat my mom for some seafood dinner and we happened to walk past this restaurant twice while site... seeing. We decided to go in because it was crowded due to the festival down the street. It was the best decision ever lol Weour server was the amazing Tokyo She was energetic, fun and a great person. Our food was not very hot. They had several things missing from the menu. They didn’t have bibs. There was no hand soap in the... whole place. I asked several times if they had some and nothing. They are located near so many stores, I don’t understand thelack of soap. It’s gross. It’s a pandemic. If I can’t wash my hands how can the staff. This place is terrible. Read more
The maniac sauce was overly sweet and had overwhelming flavors of garlic. I am a garlic girl through and through, but that was... still too much for me (which speaks volumes). The seafood also did not tasted fresh - especially for the price point we werepaying. If there was one positive it would be that the service was stellar, the staff were friendly and attentive. It was just ok. Nothing wow! The starter we ordered was a shrimp basket which when it came was just 5 shrimps! Not much of a... basket! With super oily Cajun garlic fries. Main was lobster tail with rice and veggies. Lobster tail was super tiny. Like theycooked the tiniest tail they could find. And for that price, seemed like a rip off. Rice was dry and veggies were subpar. Bestpart of it all was the bottomless Minute Maid lemonade drink. Ambiance is ok. Host at the front is brutish when instructing youwhere to go, sit. The worst was their bathroom which was an utter mess. And given how close it is to the kitchen, just wasn’tpleasing to see that mess. Like others have said, doubt I’d return. This place is okay! The website menu is laid out well, and the service is friendly/great. Even with extra sauce, it’s not as... saucy like some other boil spots which we were a little disappointed about. The sauce is a little too thin, but the max spicelevel is great. Bonus that they let you take out raw oysters. Great value for what you get it you order the combo bag(s) andadd on from there. Still on the hunt for the best boil in Chicago. Read more
I rate this place a 2/10. Friendly staff and the lobster roll “hot” was ok. Over seasoned garlic noodles. Taste like they... didn’t rinse their seafood all the way after cleaning. Food tastes like cleaning products. I’m not one to send my food backor complain but it wasn’t eatable. The waiter said he can have the cook remake it that’s my only option so I was stuck withover seasoned garlic noodles and nasty “char” oysters. They didn’t even ask would I care for something else. To me moneywas more important that quality of food and customer service. I wouldn’t recommend or visit back. Read more
