You?ve got to patronize this place! It?s cozy & tucked away but close to busy spots of Uptown/Boystown/Wrigley. Incredible beer... and liquor selection. The food menu is a great selection too. I used to live across the street and have frequented this amazing place. It has great outdoor sitting as well as indoor. I... absolutely loved their whiskey collection and so many (rotating as well) beers on tap. Long back I really enjoyed their VeggieBurger. Must try their fries with its sauce. Absolutely delicious. This is a lovely neighborhood bar and fun for a casual dinner. It can get packed so I'd recommend coming early for a table... outside (inside was easier). The atmosphere is really nice and I'd definitely come back. The food was pretty good and eventhough I didn't personally like the drink I ordered, it was well made and my friend liked hers. Fun spot! We went for brunch on Saturday. They were short staffed and still gave us great service. The food was good. We started with... chips and guacamole then had breakfast bagel sandwiches, chicken sandwich and Bob's brunch bowl. The chicken sandwich was theleast favorite. Amazing Fries! So crisp and crunchy. Good sports bar to enjoy drinks while watching your favorite game. We went here for dinner... and really liked the food. Ordered a couple of beers and single malt scotches. Service was Great. You can order directlythrough the QR code and its unique for each table. Or you can have someone take your order. Nice ambiance! Infatuated with the Toast Tab ordering system at Bar on Buena. When you get seated you scan a QR code, and create a tab to place... orders. You can submit multiple orders on the same tab. Anyone at the table can join the tab, and at the end you can paytogether, or select the items you want to pay for. Easy! The server is tentative to the tables even with the self-sufficientToast Tab. Beer suggestion if you enjoy dark bock lagers - get the Lifesblood by Old Irving Brewing. It goes great with a coldday, and French fries! Read more
Great vibe and good food. The pozole was super good. I will have it when I come back next. Also they have a great beer selection... and some reserves too. I would maybe skip the turkey burger, I found the seasoning blend to be off and it wasn't bad but notwhat I would want again. Read more
