Waited for 40 minutes, got a call from someone who I couldn't understand and then got a text that our order was cancelled... because they couldn't fill it. Bull. Dont waste your time. We ordered a chix souvlaki sandwich, a gyros plate. 2 avgolemno and a side rice. It took close to 25mins for the food to be... prepared. the soups were microwaved along with the rice and were not ready when the sandwiches were. The Avgolemno had grilledchicken chunks in it that were seasoned with oregano and middle eastern-like/persian seasoning that changed the flavor of thesoup and it cost $47.50. Not a great experience. There was a change in the cooks and ever since then the food has not tasted the same to me. It?s not bad, it does taste very... different though. Normally this isn?t an issue but the last time I went in, the burger I got was just completely burnt and thatconfirmed my doubts. Read more
Ordered for pick up through clover. Receipt had feta fries in them. They were missing. The food was decent, gyros were crispy,... get a feeling that they had been airing out for a while because they were a bit dry (that?s why they were crispy). Soup wasgood, did not expect fried/grilled? Pieces of chicken to be in it, instead of boiled. Salad that came with the gyro bowl waspretty good. I was disappointed. I have never had pork gyros. They were dry and chewy. The tomato was more green than red. At least the... onions were tasty. The cheese fries were limp. I did enjoy the free baklava that came with my first order. To top it off theyforgot the salad dressing. In response to the owner, the fries were soft 4 minutes after I picked the order up. Read more
They were 5-Star and absolutely delicious before being taken over by new management. This used to be the best burger in town,... now the food is sub-par. I used to eat there pretty often. I ate there once since the new management and have not eaten theresince. The quality went down dramatically. It was a sad day in Rogers Park when the old management left. Read more
