Today's review is for The Duplex in Logan Square! On Tuesdays they have happy hour from 5-10 pm with 1/2 price classic cocktails... and $10 pitas. You order on your phone after receiving a text which makes it dangerously easy to order too much of everything!Just press a button lol! We tried the ceviche and the enchilada appetizer. The food was delicious and the drinks were top-notch.The presentation was beautiful and service was great! Easy street parking. Definitely going back ???????? Read more

Love everything about this place. I was first drawn in by the cool vibes of the music emanating out onto the sidewalk patio with... a view of lush Logan Square. The Chilean chimichurri ribeye was perfect. Cocktails were perfecter. Also highly recommend thelamb bowl. It sounds innocuous but dang. Don’t miss it. The rotating chefs won’t be here forever. Shout out to The JohnWesley Experience for a dope Thursday performance. Read more

The vibes this place gives when walking by! I did not mind that a reservation had to be made. We came here to celebrate my... sister's birthday and it was perfect! The Dj had everyone dancing, singing, living the moment. The style of ordering Isdifferent but efficient. If it's your first time make sure to say that so they can walk you through the process. The service wasgreat! Well groomed, good looking, and very nice. NOW! The food! I ordered the brunch ????, the details in the sandwich sold me.I asked for the hollandaise on the side, ( it did not need it). The burger has so much flavor and perfectly cooked. Just when Ithought wow! The brioche hit me with a little extra garlic butter flavor. Very filling and well put together, especially for theavocado lovers. My friends dishes were also delicious. My sister ordered the shrimp and grits and my friend the lobster omelet.Every plate was a great serving. I heard nothing but words of pleasure even for the drinks. The only thing I would add is avisit from the manager or whoever was in charge to let them know what an experience they gave me! Highly recommended, go! Now!Make that reservation! Read more

Pretty fun concept with the chefs rotating every six months - which means there are new options to try if you haven’t been in... a while or just generally a good variety of options. They had some nice drink specials the two times we went. We reallyenjoyed the food from 2 Korean Girls (specifically the original bibimbap and my partner liked the Korean fried chicken) as wellas the food from Space Cow (specifically loaded tots). They’ve had some live music and overall it’s a fun atmosphere. Youcan order from your phone and pay from your phone too, which can be especially helpful if you’re dining with friends as itsaves time of splitting up the bill and people can order whenever they’d like and they just bring drinks and food out asit’s ready. This place was a neat experience! Yummy, strong, and cool-looking drinks! All the food was really good quality. Burgers are... amazing. It is more on the pricey side but it is worth it for the quality. When you go there you just order from your phone &you can decide whenever to close your tab! Read more

The concept behind this place is really cool - rotating restaurants every six months, order via mobile (never have to flag down... a waitress). Because of this I’ll be sure to come back. Had Two Korean Girls when we went and it was decent. We reallyenjoyed how authentic the food was, not your typical American Korean food. Also had Space Cows ranch fries which were alsoreally good. The old fashioned I had was a little sweet but it was only $5 so it was an amazing deal. They have 20% gratuityincluded so make sure you consider that before you pay. Read more

My wife and I came on a Thursday night and we're greeted by a warm and welcoming hostess who gave us the option to choose where... we wanted to sit because the place wasn't busy. We took a booth and were able to take in atmosphere. My wife described as moderncontemporary. The wall besides us was lined with wallpaper filled with beautiful plants. I also noticed that each booth had anoutlet on the wall just above the tables as well. It seemed like a place perfect for locals to get a cocktail and the dailyspecials could possibly have you becoming a regular (I believe it was 5 dollar old fashions the day we went). There is also a20% gratuity fee so you don't have to worry about including a tip. We came for the 2 Korean girls kitchen and we're notdisappointed with what we got. The bibimbap hit all the right spots, acidic from the pickled vegetables, savory from the meat, umami from the runny yolk (adorable heart shaped egg) and sesame seeds, all resting on top of a bed of rice. Agreeable for theprice and portion. We also got the Korean fried chicken. One of the most memorable sweet, savory, with a little spice chickendrumsticks I've had. They even were decorated with little edible star sprinkles. My wife ate it pretty much as soon as it cameto the table and loved the crunchy shell and tender meat, and drumsticks are her least favorite. I ate half my bowl beforemoving to the chicken and was surprised to see them still so crispy after the wait. Next time we're going to have to gets fullorder. The cocktails were exceptional. Presentation just drew us in. The garnish, the colors, the fruity/tropical but notoverpowering flavors took us away. I believe they were 14 and less each. I'm not a fan of gin and I was surprised by the SandsIsland because I didn't taste it until I made my way near the end. Service: hasty, welcoming, kind, easy to talk to/get a holdof someone Food: hitting the cravings of what you're looking for, daily deals, cocktails that can surprise Read more
