I just recently moved to Chicago from NYC and I had been craving some good ole ?Halal Food?, so while I?m the city I googled... ?Halal Food Near Me? and what do you know a Halal Guys popped up. I read the reviews and despite only having 3.7 stars I decidedto give them a shot. I mean I just came from New York .. how bad could it be right ? Well, it?s Bad.. and I?m being nice becauseI actually want them to post this review because theres no way this is okay? . To my Black people, they treat us well here. P chefs it up in the kitchen. P RESPRESENTED THIS ESTABLISHMENT VERY WELL. HE... PREPARED THIS MEAL EXTREMELY WELL. Keep in mind I walked 30 mins just to come to this one. The other locations that are closerto me don't have the best rep for how they treat us based off the reviews. I mean I was amazed... I heard alot about Halal guys, and I came all the way from a different state to try out. Their customer service was terrible. I... asked for an extra spicy sauce and he said I already gave one! And I wanted to pay in Cash which they said they can?t accept100$ and 50$ bills. Also, food is alright. Read more
Combo plate no salad!!!! Chicken, gyro, herb beef and rice... chicken was very juicy but flavor was lacking gyro was amazing 10... out 10. Herb beef was ok, I wouldn't say it was good or bad,was meh. It was my first time eating here and I wanted to to try it because I've heard good things, and it was great! The place is very... small and there's only a few tables available and staff was nice! There's no bathroom or wifi here and parking is mostly streetparking. I got the regular chicken and gyro combo, with white sauce and a bit of BBQ sauce! The meat was very tender andflavorful, it was delicious itself. Everything tasted so good together and seemed very fresh. I recommend this place for a quickbite or for good delicious food. The food was great and the service was even better. We were greeted by Alba when we walked in the door. She was very good at... communicating/explaining our options.
