Pretty good place to get a quick bite. Got a pizza puff, Italian beef, and gyro plate.
The food is superb! They probably have the best avocado bacon burger everywhere. Note to self to order medium well next time, as... I probably missed out on some serious juicy points because I ordered well done, but that's on me. The place is nice and clean,the people are polite and the overall vibe among the patrons is chill and friendly. My only complaint is they don't have adiaper changing table in either of the two washrooms, which my toddler son and I were in dire need of when we went in. Read more
This is 4.3 stars. The gyros are fantastic and the plate has lots of meat, so order extra pitas and extra tiziki sauce. I... ordered the greek salad as a side (instead of fries) and was pleasantly surprised with its freshness. The olives, onions andfeta cheese cuts through the greek dressing which is tangy. I'm here almost everyday. I call it "uppity Maxwell." The prices are a little on the high end because you can get these same... items on the West Side in the hood for half the price, but this is Wicker Park, a high end neighborhood of Chicago, so theprices make sense here. It's Chicago's street food. it's greatly portioned and delicious. The cozy dine in or the cozy patiodining. Right in the center of one of the most bustling neighborhoods in Chicago. Great spot for late night eats , lunch , etc. Tried multiple menu items such as the polish , Italian beef , Italian sausage,... gyro and burgers. Cheddar dog was kinda disappointing due to the fact it doesn't really have any other condiments than justmerktz cheese(from what I got). Other than that the main items are always great.
