Very nice, friendly pasta themed restaurant amongst other bars and grills there on Clark st. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic.... It gets busy! The locals love it. So get there early. Great and attentive staff. They check on u often. Pasta is hot, fresh andtasty. They even have rainbow pasta for the kids. Beer on tap. Wines and ciders. Definitely a pasta lovers dream. This is literally my favorite takeout place in the neighborhood and I?ve always felt lucky to live so close by to them. If you... are as crazy about Italian food as I am, you should definitely stop by for dinner or order takeout from them. Their portions aregenerous, the pasta is cooked to perfection and the sauces are amazing. The food is also packaged in aluminum trays to keep themhot for as long as possible, which is a big bonus for takeouts. My favorite is the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and if Icould I?d be ordering it from them every single week. PS: Just don?t forget to add parmesan to your order if that is also a mustto you as you place your order, as it isn?t included in the price of the entrees. Read more
Ordered fettuccine Alfredo from here tonight. Being vegetarian, I didn't want the chicken in it but the food delivery app I was... ordering on didn't give me the option to remove the chicken. So I called the restaurant once I placed my order and requestedthem to leave out the chicken. The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful, friendly and courteous. He even asked ifwe'd like veggies instead of chicken (to which I gladly agreed!). I thought that was extremely thoughtful of him! The pastaitself was delicious! Creamy, rich and fresh. We really enjoyed are food and there was enough for some very tasty leftovers! The Pinot Noir was excellent.
I used to love this place but recently it feels like they?re sending the worst quality stuff on delivery orders because they... know it?s not acceptable in restaurant. On two different occasions I?ve ordered tiramisu that has arrived so mangled it?sinedible. Chicken parm is way over cooked and tough. Cheese bread was okay though a bit overdone as well. It?s sad because Ithink their food could be really good, but the quality of my last two delivery orders has been lacking. Read more
