A great neighborhood spot. Food is tremendous, drinks are great, staff is nice. It?s one of our favorite spots for a very laid... back date and my go-to for solo dinner at the bar. Read more

Great bar with very good food located in the heart of Ukrainian Village. A favorite of the locals.

Literally the best food in UV (except maybe Tryzub next door for Ukrainian food). Not even bar-level food. Like legitimately... high quality and delicious food. A good mix of classic bar items like burgers and fries and wings, but also unexpected stufflike a (very fancy) charcuterie board and a chopped Brussels sprout and feta salad. Definitely stop in for a meal and a drink! Read more

Their food is really decent and their have a great selection of beers on tap. The only downside was that in the first 30 min of... our visit we were reminded several times that there was a 90 min limit to dine in. After 30 min in (after drinks and apps), wewere ready to order our main, but we couldn't order what we wanted from the menu becase the cooking time for that dish would bearound 40 min and, again, the waiters expressed concerns about the 90 min limit. Therefore, I would return by myself to have aquick drink and meal, but not to meet friends and have an enjoyful relaxing dinner. Read more

The mussels and pretzels were BANGIN?! Generous portions, great quality. Nice tap list and my gin & tonic was well done. The... place is always packed too which is fun. The atmosphere is outdated and kind of bland, but I don?t care because this place is aChicago classic and I don?t always want to be at the newest hipster, gentrified, contrived, trendy bar. Nothing wrong with ahumble Chicago pub. Definitely one of the most slept-on spots on Chicago Ave! Read more

Things haven't changed. Tuman's is still a great late night bar with an underated menu. Charcuterie platter served with some... great sweet and savory pairings. The red wine cheese is spectacular. Need something from the grill? Try the Calamari, wonderfully charred and perfectly cooked on a bed of greens, ask for the pesto on the side. Kids of all ages love the tomatobisque and grilled cheese. Truly outstanding. Read more

Food was pretty good we got the streak sandwich and fish and chips which was a lent special. Atmosphere is nice. The place was... busy and not enough staff so service was slow. And we got charged an extra $3 to add onions to our sandwich which I thought wasweird. Who charges $3 for onions? Read more
