I got the Caribbean Stew (w/seitan) and Hawaiian Super Shake. The stew was delicious! The shake was alright. My main problem... with the place was the young lady that took my order. There was only one other person in the place (sort of small interior) andhe was already eating. But it seemed as though I was bothering her or something by being there. I placed my order but missed afew things on the menu as far as my "choices of protein" as she said. Oh, what are my options? She just pointed to the wall(large menu on there) while rambling them off. Never looked up and was just dry with me. Oops, my mistake! I'm not expectinganyone to be vibrant and bubbly all the time but this being my first time here I wasn't expecting it. When my food was ready(which wasn't a long wait time) she just put it on the counter, called out the dish and walked away. Ok, I get this all may seemsmall but I was just expecting some kind of friendliness. Grant it, it is a Saturday afternoon in Chicago during St. Patrick'sDay. Maybe it's been a rough morning? I don't know. But, join the club. We all have to work sometimes when we don't want to.Don't show that though to a customer. C'mon. Still, benefit of the doubt. I work the service arena as well. People can suck. But sometimes it is what it is. I was going to give it a 3 start but figured, she wasn't mean to me either. So 4 it is. Nobathrooms here but the way! Read more

Great juices and was able to order online. It was ready when I got there. Very clean environment. Love the ambiance, just... healthy. I was able to order and take it to a patient at the hospital down the street. Read more

Great neighborhood hole in the wall. I've heard so many good things about this place & finally got a chance to check it out for... myself. Don't come here for the decor/to impress anyone; there's no waitstaff or bathroom. The food was pretty good, with plentyof vegan/vegetarian options, including tamales & fresh juice! The cashier was super helpful & patient with our indecisiveselves. We finally settled on the Forest Mushroom Panini & Enchilada Verde. Didn't blow our socks off, but I'll reservejudgement until I try their tamales and stews. Read more
