Victory Grill is truly a Logan Square gem! I ordered a chicken kabob dinner and it did not disappoint. It was a generous serving... for a price you can?t beat anywhere else. This place is actually really nice! I visited here a couple of weeks ago on the 4th. A huge portion of my church group came here... around midnight. The service was fairly excellent. I didn't witness any discrimination nor mistreatment to myself or anyone inour group. I didn't catch the name of the cashiers nor the cooks. I am going to say the cooks were lit! They didn't miss abeat! They did an excellent job dishing out so many orders in a short period of time. I was really impressed! The only minorissue I had was the portion of fries they tried to give me.I was VERY hungry with little funds, so I ordered a large fry. When Iasked the cook for a few more fries because I ordered a large, he hesitated. It was the cashier, maybe Hispanic or Indian guy,who stepped in and said something to him. We have been here twice for dinner and the food has been excellent. This is not fine dining...this is Chicago style fast food.... Burgers, Dogs, Italian Beef, Gyros, Cheese Fries, Deli Sandwiches... Burgers and Dogs are great, Cheese fries are very good,Ruben and Pastrami are very flavorful...great choices. The Proprietor is great, taking free milkshakes to a table, or freecheese for the fries...because cheese fries are always better! Read more

It was a Victorious service at Victory grill!! Johnathan made sure that our team of Soccer champs 4 kids ages 3-10 all had the... best time. We all enjoyed delicious Chicago food, highly recommended. He went above and beyond to make sure it was a specialmemory for all of us. He even treated them to some surprise ice cream ????! So professional, well mannered and personable. This is a solid 3.5 stars! There are so many countertop grills such as this in the city so why choose this one? The food here... is very good, much like the hundreds like it (eg The Hat, RHR), however I was just very disappointed with the portions,specifically the gyro plate. At almost all of these grill-type restos, the gyro meat is plentiful that you can make 3 large(meat overflowing) gyros or 4-5 regular gyros (still substantial meat). However, this is neither. The price point is the sameor similar to other places like this, so Ill probably go there when i get a gyro craving. Read more
