I was in town for two days and wanted a true Chicago pizza experience. Vinny's Pizza, located underneath the railroad tracks... going into Union Station, sounded perfect. I was expecting a real dive. When I walked in I almost didn't stay because theplace is so nice. But Jackson the bartender immediately greeted me and made me feel welcome. When he found out that I was atourist, he kicked in to tour guide mode and suggested several places for me to visit. The chopped salad was great and the pizzawas excellent! This is a great place. Great food and drinks. The music and decorations are modern and thoughtful. The bartender April was so... personable, friendly and still professional.. I did not have the pizza, which I heard is great from the other customers... But Ihad the Caprese with Chicken. Great flavors. Definitely coming back here soon. Read more

The pizza here is pretty good. Service was a little slow, though, especially since we had a party of 6 and were 80% of the... patrons during a slow lunch hour. If you need a quick slice on the way to/from the train, this has a good location right underthe Ogilvie tracks. Can't comment on the drink specials, but they appear to be decent. Read more
This place is a must. We came in at the mid afternoon lull and had awesome service! Amazing pizza (which was bigger than we... thought) and good (short lists) beer and whiskey selection. The house salad was perfect and just right for 2 people to share.The atmosphere balances dive bar aesthetics with class and oldies hits. The bathrooms are big and nice ( huge plus). Read more
