For an airport that had so many restaurants with 1 or 2 star reviews I found woodgrain pizza with 3 stars and decided to give... them a go. Overall a good pizza with good flavor. Prices are a bit high but it?s a airport so they got you there. The sauce iswhat made the pizza really good and the crust was tasty. If I only had one complain it was that they stretch their dough a bittoo thin in the middle causing the pizza to be a little flimsy when you pick it up. Worst airport pizza. Crust was so so thick, it did not cook the dough. From the picture you can see it was not rolled properly.... Test wasn?t great either. Ordered one veggie and one five cheese. Save your money and spend it at other places Read more
Overall decent experience. Line can get quite long. The flavor of the pizza was good and the crust was nice, but the center of... the pizza was soggy and undercooked. I also had the Mediterranean chicken salad which was good. However the dressing lackedflavor. Read more
I got a veggie pizza - relatively tasty crust, sauce, and toppings. And boiling hot! The amount of sauce and cheese was very... generous - making the layer of toppings heavy enough that it slid off easily, given the liquid sauce underneath. Really good pizza, especially in an airport! Be mindful it is very messy and hard to eat sitting at your gate. And the prices... are higher than what?s advertised online due to airport increase. Read more
Not sure why others have rated this place low, but the pizza is really good and reasonably priced especially for an airport... restaurant. Had the breakfast sausage and bacon option which also has egg and mozzarella cheese. The crust is really good andthe pizza was delicious and filling. Plus supporting a black-owned local restaurant is a great bonus. Will definetly visit againnext time I have a layover through Midway! Read more
A good pizza option at the Chicago Airport. Make sure you have enough time between flights to let it bake in the wood fire oven.... Plenty of seating with outlets to charge your electronics right around the corner. Read more
Pretty good pizza, but I suggest getting it well done and grab a knife to finish cutting it yourself. The sauce was super wet
