Haven't had the pleasure to physically go but i ordered their banana pudding marshmallow fluff, mint chocolate chip marshmallow... fluff and salted caramel. I'm not even sure I can give a description on the taste and texture and would truly give their gourmetmarshmallows justice. Highly recommend if you're into marshmallows in any fashion! Read more
I surprised my son with a trip to XO Marshmallow, and it was the best idea I?ve ever had. The staff was so sweet with us, and... the marshmallows are ridiculously great. Lovely staff and amazing interior. Fun flavored marshmallows, you can taste all 12 for $8! However, the s?more had one... marshmallow on two hefty crackers, so all I tasted was cookie and chocolate sauce and that was not what I was afterunfortunately, so hence the 2 stars. Read more
Small shop with tons of fun marshmallow flavors to choose from. We found out about this place because of social media and... weren't let down when we visited in person. Everything we had was delicious! We look forward to visiting again (once they settlein their new location)! Read more
TLDR: customer service refused to make melted order right. Full explanation below. I try to support small businesses when I can... but ordering online from XO Marshmallow was one of the worst experiences I?ve had the displeasure of having. First of all, itwas shipped Ground in the middle of summer (July 7 in California) was supposed to be delivered Friday but instead sat in thewarehouse at the shippers on the hottest weekend (116 degrees) and was delivered the following Monday. The small ice packs thatthey included were hot packs by the time it got to me. Almost everything was in various stages of melting with condensation. Thecard included in the box said NOT to refrigerate, and if there was a problem with my order I had a short period of time to reachout to customer service. I contacted them immediately with pictures (everything still in boxes because I was afraid if I openedeverything to show the extent of melting that they?d void any claim I had). The worst part was they admitted the cone (mostobviously melted) was affected but didn?t offer a refund OR replacement for it. I emailed back to express my disappointment as afirst-time customer in not only the lack of service, but a lack of empathy to the situation. Never received a response orapology. First time visitor today. The staff was super patient and explained all the options to us for the self customized s'mores. We... ended up getting the lavender honey marshmallow with dark chocolate drizzle and pistachio with dark chocolate drizzle. Bothcarried the flavor really well without being too sweet. I really like the graham crackers they had. The texture wasn't ascrumbly as a golden graham cracker and more like a snap cookie. The shop is very aesthetic and cozy so it makes for a great spotfor multiple occasions. I think it's definitely an extra treat worth at least one stop. Read more
