My friend took me here for my first time yesterday (9/30/22), and I was beyond pleasantly surprised! I have celiac disease, and... she knows finding places with good GF practices and food can be difficult. The GF bread for regular and french toast was Devine! The John Denver omelet was one of the tastiest I've ever had, the flavor was fantastic! The breakfast potatoes with my omeletweren't my fave, but given everything else, I've no real complaints! Had a brunch time meal and I told my husband that any andevery date he wanted to take me on here would be fine by me! Read more

Order a $16 sandwich that came on soggy bread, none of the sauces listed in the description and the lettuce in the salad was... brown. $16 for a sandwich you have to try to make bad. Also cashier was extremely grumpy and did not smile. Read more

Not so much?Ok going on a Sunday when they?re slammed isn?t a good idea. I ordered the Sinatra. Though I got it in a reasonable... time, the poached eggs were less then room temperature. Everything else Luke warm if that. The place is a well oiled machine youcan tell. The staff is courteous and appears efficient. I might try going back when they aren?t so busy. Read more

I like my oats simple. I'm not one for fancy things, but I am particular about oats. I called in advance to see if they sold... steel cut oats. They stated they do. When I ordered, they asked if I wanted an accoutrement of berries, nuts and yogurt. I likemy oats plain. Oats cooked correctly do not require additional ingredients. When they rung up this bowl of oats, it was shy of 7dollars. Let me repeat that. Seven. Dollars. I inquired about the price, given that I did not want the other ingredients. Theywould not adjust the price. To add insult to injury, I got rolled oats. Here's some perspective: 2lbs of top shelf organicrolled oats costs 4.99. I got 6oz of mushy, over cooked, probably Quaker oats. If you're looking to get your feelings and egomassaged by a pretentious, over priced, snowflake harboring cafe, this place is for you. If you want a simple, qualitybreakfast, go elsewhere. Read more

Beatnik- a young person in the 1950s and early 1960s belonging to a subculture associated with the beat generation. "her long... black hair and comfortable clothes are the badge of the artist and beatnik" I think of a beatnik as a cross between a bohemianand a rebel. The good... Gourmet food and coffee. The people who work here are hip and Beatnik?s is conveniently located offHwy 99 and Hwy 32. The bad... If you want large portions head to Morning Thunder, Beatnik?s has smaller portions but theportion is more the right size for healthier eating, you full but not stuffed. The Ugly...The price reflects the quality offood. Totally worth the price for a gourmet food in my opinion. Read more
