I first visited this restaurant about 6 years ago, and didn't get a good impression, so I avoided it. I don't know if there has... been a change of staff of what in the last two years, but I'm glad I gave it a second chance. This my go to on my days off forbrunch with my family. Staff is always friendly, attentive, informative. There's always someone bringing fresh coffee around.Food is yummy and prompt. I've brought people here when they've been in town themselves. I was very disappointed in the service that I received today the waiter that served me of course she was waiting on every one... else in her section people came and went she never asked me how was my meal and is everything okay did I need more drink oranything then I go to pay for my meal another person came right behind me and then she turned towards that person to allow thatperson to pay ahead of me and I said excuse me I was here first and then I gave her my money and she put my change on thecounter instead of giving it to me in my hand the same way I gave it to her if you're black I do not recommend going here Iprayed over my food and I prayed over my water and ask God to make this nourishment to my body and the harm has been done to myfood because once I walked in there I did not feel welcome here very disappointed in the service even though my food came within5 minutes that was the only thing that I liked. Now I'm a big Tipper on my waiter does a very well job and my meal is only 5 to10 dollars I usually pay way more than my meal cost. very poor service Read more

I love pancakes and Counrtry Waffles has the best pancakes in Chico! I stop there for breakfast everytime I am in town. This... past visit I added strawberries and whip cream to the pancakes and they were incredible! I still added a little maple syrupjust for fun, but totally unnecessary! It was busy, so we sat at the counter instead of a table. The counter was a fun experience. And the food was delicious. Bacon... was a little crisp for me. But that is just me. It still had excellent flavor. Ham was done just the way I like it. I wassurprised that I got three eggs instead of two. Sunny side up or as like to say, looking at me.
